I have over 15 years of experience as a Certified Hypnotherapist. I work with a number of different approaches that have been proven effective for many of my clients to help them address a variety of issues and challenges. What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused awareness that helps you bypass the analytic mind allowing you to feel very peaceful and relaxed. By using the powerful transforming resources of your subconscious mind, many beneficial changes can occur. Hypnosis and trance states are not imposed upon a client, but are collaboration between the therapist and client to work with your unique inner and outer resources to assist you in achieving your goals.

Every client is always conscious and in control throughout their entire session. The art and science of Hypnotherapy is conveyed through conversation, imagery and metaphors while you’re in your subconscious mind. This allows you to discover new perceptions, make new meanings of habitual experiences and dissolve the emotional pressure of stress that can sabotage what you want to achieve in your life.

What happens during a session?
At the beginning of each session there is an interview and an exercise that allows you to clear stress and relax. A joint determination is made on what would be the best approach to help you resolve the issue(s). During this initial conversation, I explore your ”suggestibility” and share with you why the phenomenon of hypnosis works. Each session is structured to your specific area of concern; I always take notes because the “specificity” of what you say is an important pathway to helping you use your subconscious mind to transform yourself.

For many of my clients, I explain how you can use the Emotional Releasing Practices to dissolve the emotional charge within frustration, worry, anger, impatience, depression and anxiety, which frees you from it. This can take from one to five sessions.

Another approach my clients use is working only with Hypnosis or Cellular Release Therapy. In a session, you put on the Biofeedback sunglasses and headphones, (developed by Canadian Psychologists), which helps you to effortlessly relax into a very calm trance state. At the same time, I verbally guide you to help release, clear and heal your limited beliefs or upsetting experiences.
Can I be Hypnotized?

Studies have found that the smarter you are the easier it is to be hypnotized.  For many people they already experience hypnosis when they’re seeing tv or zoning out. The trance state of hypnosis is deeper.

In a hypnotic trance state do you give up your free will?
No. You are more focused and fully aware of what’s happening within yourself. My client can reject or accept whatever the hypnotherapist is saying to you.

How many Online, Phone Hypnosis or private sessions do I need?
The number of sessions depends on the topic you would like to improve. The average is 4-10 sessions.

How long is a session?
The first session is approximately 1- 2 hours long. All remaining sessions are usually 75 minutes long except for Cellular Release Therapy which is 2 hours long. My clients generally book weekly, bi-monthly or monthly sessions.

Under hypnotic trance, will you forget or not have conscious recollection of what happened in the session?
Generally you will remember everything that is said and has occurred in the session. Some people will remember more details of the session as you go through a natural integration phase in the days that follow.

Is it possible that a person can put in a trance state against their wishes?
If you don’t want to be hypnotized, it won’t happen. Being receptive is important part of the hypnosis process. At the same time, some resistance is helpful to allow you let go into an even deeper trance state.

What does a trance state feel like?
The trance state is a naturally occurring peaceful state that happens during each day. For example a light trance-like state occurs during meditation, daydreaming, during a long car drive or seeing a movie.

How is your practice different from other Hypnotherapists?
Every Hypnotherapist has their own unique strengths that can help a person achieve their goals. Besides working as a Certified Hypnotherapist and utilizing my Alchemical Hypnotherapy training  for nearly twenty years, I bring to the field over 30 years of meditating and working on myself. I also use a sophisticated Biofeedback instrument that gently shifts your brain waves into a trance state to help generate the desired outcome.
